Dualism

The large missing portion symbolizes conflicting thoughts or identities, immersing us in Dualism: a philosophical and religious doctrine that maintains the existence of two fundamental and opposite principles that explain reality. These principles are usually irreducible and antagonistic, such as good and evil, body and soul, or matter and spirit.
